I’ve had W3TC running well on one site I run at http://www.morrispaint.com for quite a while. Recently, I’ve noticed that with W3TC enabled and set to Automatic settings, the Nextgen Gallery plugin does not work correctly. It is displayed on our Projects page fine but when I click on a photo it goes to the photo itself instead of launching a slideshow. When logged it, the gallery behaves normally.

Any input? I’ve tried manually configuring the minify settings in the past but never could get certain elements to play nice. My other site has been switched to Quick Cache and WP Minify and the gallery performs correctly.

What version of the plugin are you using? What are you settings? Can you submit a bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin?

@sysopsavant- I had the exact same issue and solved it by going to the W3TC Minify page and under JavaScript I unchecked the box for line break removal.

    Thanks,
That worked for me as well. Of course then I had to upload my .htaccess file all over again. Every time I make the slightest change to W3TC setting, the entire website gets an internal 500 error.

Well, yes, the file has to be modified when settings are changed. I just use my shared host’s control panel/file manager- delete the old file and paste in the new one- pretty simple operation. I’ve never seen any 500 errors.

Hello folks, I’m having very similar issues with the NextGen Gallery when logged out, except I’m not running W3TC. I’ve tried disabling all of my plugins (except NextGen Gallery) and I still have this problem. Specifically the problem I notice is that clicking on tags on images in the gallery gives me a 404 “Not Found” page when logged out, but works perfectly when logged in.

Any input? Plugin v1.72, WordPress v3.05

    Thanks!
