# NextGEN Gallery issues with posts

 * Hi, I am running NextGEN gallery 1.7.4 and am trying to embed a simple image 
   gallery into a post on my WordPress blog. I’m using the code provided: [nggallery
   id=2]. Every time I place this into the post I want it to appear and update the
   posting, the gallery never displays. But, when I place the same code into a page
   on my blog, the gallery does appear. Does this not work with posts – only pages?
   Thanks in advance for your help!
