Support » Plugin: New Nine Adaptive Images » Nextgen Gallery Integration

  • First off, I’m pretty excited to see that you’ve integrated this javascript library into a plugin. Been looking for this for a while.

I upload the majority of my images using nextgen galleries, as I have a photography based website and this allows better orginaisation of my images.

It looks like I might be able to tweak settings in .htaccess to apply the adaptive image approach for the media library and the nextgen gallery? But I’m not certain no how to do this – are you able to give me any advice.

I assume I’d need something like below, the first two lines are for the media library uploads and the second two are for nextgen galleries (there are multiple folders inside the \gallery directory). Is this the correct approach? and is there a simple way for me to check that this approach is working properly? I’m also a little confused as to how/when the adaptive images are applied, as the nextgen images are displayed as smaller thumbnails but when clicked show the large image in a lightbox.
