nextgen gallery doesn't work with splash page

Hi,
i’ve got a problem.
Nextgen gallery doesn’t work with the template with splash page.
It add this tag #! before the gallery path.
Even if I try to chanhe it doesn’t work the same infact everytime I click on a photo it open a new page with code and not image.
How can i resolve it?
