NextGen Gallery disapperaed

    I lost my photo galleries and the NextGen Gallery plugin disappeared from my site yesterday. I don’t know if this happened because I updated the NextGen gallery version or updated to WordPress 4.1. Either way, I don’t see where the NextGen Gallery plugin is so I can’t activate or deactivated or revert to an older version. I could install it again but I don’t know it will bring back my galleries. I lost over 50 photo galleries and can’t post some of my new content this is fixed. BTW, I am an online journalist, not a techie so any help you can give me with simple instructions would really be appreciated.     I can’t help, but I will tell you I just “upgraded” tonight and lost management capabilities to all but one of my galleries so it’s not just you.
    They are all still there to look at, but I cannot manage (add tags, descriptions, etc) to any but one. Nice upgrade I must say. I have been looking for a replacement for Nextgen since they dropped flash slideshow capability and never bothered to replace it with anything. Now I guess I must really step up my search, unless they fix this lates issue. I’m sure they will get right on it.
