NextGEN Gallery and W3 Total Cache

    I am using the NextGEN Gallery plugin and W3 Cache. I am trying to use the optimize settings on W3 cache but it seems to be running into gallery problems and the way it resizes:

    The following images are resized in HTML or CSS. Serving scaled images could save 169.8KiB (57% reduction).

    http://www.covenantpres.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/P1400619.jpg is resized in HTML or CSS from 640×478 to 133×100. Serving a scaled image could save 128KiB (95% reduction).

    (repeat for lots of pictures)

    Is there a way to fix this as it is my biggest problem with page speed and brining down my score?

    Is there a better plugin to use for photo galleries?

    Would the built in gallery with a lightbox plugin be better?

    This isn’t a W3TC issue, it’s just working with the files that exist. This is an NGG issue. You should add the plugin author to this topic.
