NextGen Gallery and Lightbox Not Working!

    Hi, recently upgrade Nextgen Gallery to the latest version and now the lightbox effect isn’t working. What has happened is that the thumbnail of the first image in the gallery is showing and then a whole bunch of navigation #’s beneath each image. If you click on the next image it changes the thumbnail of all of the galleries on the page, and if one gallery doesn’t have the same amount of images in it, there is an error “no images found”. First of all this should be happening, why is one nav controlling all of the galleries. Secondly, if you click on the actual thumbnail it just opens the .jpg in a blank window – this is not the way I want it to display. The old version showed the first image in a thumbnail and then if you clicked on the image it would open in a lightbox with the description and the navigation to go to the next or previous images. I have tried EVERY setting in the plugin options and I have crawled every lighbox support post trying to figure this out. I have downloaded lightbox2 plugin as well as “slimbox” plugin, as instructed in many posted and disabled the NextGen lightbox setting nothing works. I have altered my shortcodes umpteen different ways and still NO JOY! What is wrong, can someone Please, Please assist?

    On this page http://www.judithclute.co.uk/etchings/ I have changed the shortcode to show an imagebrowser display, but the gallery still doesn’t open in a lightbox.

    On other thing, I know this is not a js error because I only have 5 plugins on my site and I have deactivated all of them in an attempt to get this to work.

    @silkweb – What is the shortcode you are using for those galleries? I can see the issue you are referring to and would like to get a better idea why it is happening by seeing the exact shortcodes you are using.

    Thanks! On this page, http://www.judithclute.co.uk/etchings/ I am using: ‘[imagebrowser id=4]’ and ‘[ngg_images gallery_ids=”4″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_imagebrowser”]’ both have the same result.

    This page http://www.judithclute.co.uk/illustrations/ is using: [gallery=6] but I have tried various others and then just reverted back to the old code as nothing was working anyway.
