# Adding image title in NextGen Gallery

 * Hi,
 * I’d like to add the title of each images on the gallery.php.
 * I tried to modify the template: gallery.php by adding:
 * `echo "$image->alttext";`
 * I have selected gallery.php on the menu NextGEN Basic Thumbnails.
    It didn’t 
   work, nothing change at all.
 * I read on another topic that I had to create an other template with this change.
   The template does not appear in the list.
 * If someone could explain to me where should i put my new template to make it 
   appear in the list i would be grateful.
 * Sorry if you see any english mistake, english is not my native english.
