NextGEN Galleries rendering colours poorly

Hi all,

I’m running the Adroa theme on my WP site, and have had the NextGEN galleries plugin installed for years. All plugins are up to date to the latest version as of today.

The issue I’m having is that the colours of the images I load into NextGEN are very poorly rendered. I’ve not noticed this before, but I couldn’t swear to t starting with the latest set of updates. Some images show up very red, while others look muted. My screen is calibrated,and the comparison I’m drawing is with the way the images look in Photoshop. I have a screenshot of a side by side comparison but I’m not sure how to attach an image here?

I haven’t been able to find any documentation on this, is anyone aware of this problem and/or how to fix it? Please note that I’m utterly unfamiliar with coding, so I would greatly appreciate if any advice was worded so a novice like me could grasp it. 🙂
