 * Hi, I’m a plugin author as well and someone is having the same conflict with 
   downloads and NextGen gallery that you fixed a year ago. I went to look at your
   repository history and these two aren’t available:
 * 2.5.1
    Fixed conflict with nextgen gallery 2.5.0 Fixed issue with category id
   for utf8 charset Fixed issue with file title
 * Would you be able to point me to the fix?

 * nextgen gallery issue fix in file `download-manager.php`, function `wpdm_skip_ngg_resource_manager`
 * From v2.7, it is using custom post type, so category and post now handled by 
   wp’s native feature.
