    Hello,
    With Version 2.0.66.37 I have no problem.
    From versions 2.71 – 2.74, I get an error message that appears on the site and the dashboard.
    “Mac OS X 2|ATTRZone.Identifier[ZoneTransfer] ZoneId=3 “.
    If I disable NetGen the error message disappears.
    If I reinstall the version 2.0.66.37 too.
    If I turn off all other “plugins” I still have the error message.

    @fm95 – I have no idea where that might coming from … where are you seeing this happening? Can you provide a link to the site where it is happening?

    My problem is strangely similar to this one:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/line-about-zone-transfer-on-every-page

    I can provide one or more links, but outside the forum.

    @fm95 – There does appear to be some similarities there, did you try any of the suggestions that were put forward in that topic?

    – Cais.

    Hi,

    I have the same problem described here :
    When NextGEN gallery is activated, I can not use the filemanager of CKEditor because of this string (filemanage expects XML) on a Synology.

    On a webserver Linux, I cannot use the filemanager when NextGEN Gallery is activated even if no string “Mac OS X” is displayed (perhaps an non writable char ?)

    @queuleu – There is no real need to cross-link you topic, creating a new one is the best method to use.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.

    Hi,

    The cross posting is not only for you, but also for the initial writers which have the same problem.

    Best regards

    @queuleu – I can appreciate what you are trying to do but there is no guarantee that says these are the same issue so it is generally not recommended … see http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins#Troubleshooting … as it can take the OP’s issue off into a direction that is not helping them.

    Thanks!

    For test this week, I installed on a Synology 212+ new WordPress website in French, with only the plugin NetxGen 2.0.79.
    I get the line “Mac OS X 2 |? ATTR ???? Zone.Identifier [ZoneTransfer] ZoneId = 3”.
    I will try later with a WordPress English.

    Same problem with WordPress English version. Maybe the problem is in one of the components of Synology.

    Hi,

    I’m tracking the problem
    Into plugins/nextgen-gallery/pope/lib/class.component_registry.php

    line 97 : add echo for $file_path
    else foreach ($this->find_product_and_module_files($path, $recurse) as $file_abspath) { echo "<br / >$file_abspath <br />";

    Line 100 : add echo
    echo "End of the foreach"

    The result :

    /volume1/web/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/@eaDir/product.photocrati_nextgen.php@SynoEAStream
    Mac OS X 	2|ATTRZone.Identifier[ZoneTransfer] ZoneId=3
    /volume1/web/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ajax/@eaDir/module.ajax.php@SynoEAStream
    Mac OS X 	2|ATTRZone.Identifier[ZoneTransfer] ZoneId=3
    /volume1/web/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ajax/module.ajax.php

    ... many lines ...

    /volume1/web/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/wpcli/@eaDir/module.wpcli.php@SynoEAStream
    Mac OS X 	2|ATTRZone.Identifier[ZoneTransfer] ZoneId=3
    /volume1/web/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/wpcli/module.wpcli.php

    /volume1/web/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/product.photocrati_nextgen.php

    Do do not display the “End of the foreach”

    @fm95 : do you have the same display if you add the “echo” ?

    @wpyogi
    I do not understand why you delete the message where I say that the function add_module_path where the bug seems to be has been completely rewritten between version 2.0.66 (no bug) and version 2.0.71 (with bug) ?

    @queuleu – if you need help, please start (or use) your own thread as asked above AND per the forum guidelines –

    I’ve also deleted two posts with HUGE error logs – you can’t post things like that on these forums.

    @wpyogi

    We have the same problem with fm95 (same bug on the same NAS). I think that it is normal that we show solidarity in our search of a solution.

    This problem is also described in an another thread https://wordpress.org/support/topic/nextgen-sends-strange-chars?replies=1
    The author of the plugin not thinking of taking care of its resolution

    For the huge log, I’m sorry. You erased it so fast that I thought that there was an error.
    I have reposted just a few lines of the log for helping to find the bug

    @fm95 please excuse this interruption of your support topic. I’ll try to be brief. 😉

    @queuleu Unless you are directly contributing to the original poster’s problem and not your own then please start your own topic per the forum welcome.

    Here’s why: This topic belongs to fm95. It’s that user’s topic and not yours; it is very disrespectful to attempt to hijack this topic.

    I know that is not your intention but please let’s focus on the problem that fm95 is having. You can contribute to solving that user’s problem or you can start your own topic.

    This plugin is supported by one of the most attentive and responsive support person I know. Photocrati is responsive and supports the free users of this opensource plugin well.

    The author does not have to provide that good support: users are not customers and the relationship is not the same. Please set your expectations appropriately and be patient.

    It’s also Sunday night and we all get a break sometime. 😉

    Back to the scheduled topic at hand.

    @fm95 – This is looking like a possible hardware/work-flow issue, do you see the same problem if you use a remote web hosting service and a freshly installed version of NextGEN Gallery from the WordPress repository?

    – Cais.

    (@fm95)

    @photocrati – I use a Synology NAS for not hosted site 🙂
    But I might be able to test it on a professional environment.
    If i’m the only one experiencing this problem, I will not bother you too long.
