Hello @simonemarconbdg,
Let’s check something first.
Can you please share with us what kind of gallery display are you using?
Is it Italian the default website language?
Check Polylang settings
Polylang allows including strings and translations to the whole site, and these options are available at Language > Strings translations.
It might be the case that the English translation for your image titles and descriptions are empty.
Hello gabyimagely,
the galleries appeare correctly in both languages.
The pages are:
website.it/Immagini with shrotcode [ngg_images source=”albums” container_ids=”8″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_extended_album” gallery_display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails” galleries_per_page=”0″ enable_breadcrumbs=”1″ enable_descriptions=”0″ override_thumbnail_settings=”0″ thumbnail_width=”240″ thumbnail_height=”160″ thumbnail_crop=”1″ order_by=”sortorder” order_direction=”ASC” returns=”included” maximum_entity_count=”500″] and website.it/Images with the same shortcode.
When i’am in the english language and i click on one gallery i return in the italian version of website.
I need to have the same gallery for both languages and when the user select one of gallery’s album his have to remain in the language that his selected.
Hello @simonemarconbdg,
One thing we noticed from your shortcode is that it’s outdated.
Please, re-insert the album display. It will create an updated shortcode.
You mentioned that when the user clicks on any galleries in your English Album, it redirects to the Italian version of the site?
By default, that gallery should be displayed on the same page. It shouldn’t even move from the current URL.
Perhaps a solution will be to link each individual gallery to an individual page that you can set up in two languages. Please, check this information https://www.imagely.com/docs/link-gallery-album-page/
We hope that this helps!
Please, keep us posted.
