    Hi I have got myself in a muddle with installing too many galleries. I started with fancy box which is the one I would like to stick with, for photos in my posts. Then I installed Photo Galleria as I wanted to have image galleries. I have now de-activated Photo Galleria with no ill affects. Next I installed NextGEN Gallery and NextGEN smooth gallery. I know by now you must be thinking what the h***. Searching for the right image display is something of a challenge to the newbie. This is the link to one of my galleries which is not very impressive, dont like the bracketed show picture list and unless I go into the code I cant change the dimensions of the slideshow and there are no thumbnails or navigation.
    Also when I click on one of the thumbnails in the picture list it loads up on top of the fancy box. Is there someway I can keep fancy box for image display in my posts but get a smick gallery for my photo albums? Thanks for your help.

    The plugin Easy FancyBox and NextGEN Gallery can be made to work nicely together. See http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/easy-fancybox/faq/ for tips.

    Wow thanks for answering. One waits weeks/months for an answer that is absolutely of no help whatsoever but thanks for trying.

    use different header for page that you use as gallery and change this code

    if ( is_singular() && get_option( 'thread_comments' ) )
    wp_enqueue_script( 'comment-reply' );

    to hard code and find this code and delete,

    		var select = $('a[href$=".bmp"],a[href$=".gif"],a[href$=".jpg"],a[href$=".jpeg"],a[href$=".png"],a[href$=".BMP"],a[href$=".GIF"],a[href$=".JPG"],a[href$=".JPEG"],a[href$=".PNG"]');
    		select.attr('rel', 'fancybox');

    so your header will not load fancybox.
