  • I used next_posts and previous_posts as a means of navigating back and forward through time in 1.0, where I seem to remember them working fine no matter where you were.
But now they only work when viewing single posts, whereas I also used them to go back a week at a time from my frontpage. (they are the ‘older posts’ and ‘newer posts buttons on my site).
    Was this intentional?

  • Anyone?… Anyone? Bueller… Bueller…

    try previoust_post('%','text','yes')

I’m also curious as to how to get these functions working. Could one of the devs give a heads up?

    something d o o economics

u need to look in the template-functions.php & figure it out from there

I was just wondering myself michael. I’d love for people to be able to look at the previous seven. Has anyone tried the previous_post(‘%’,’text’,’yes’) suggestion yet?
I guess it’s time to wade into template-functions

It should – I have the one above and a plugin running on my page with 5 posts paged, you can check it out.
