Support » Plugin: Slider by Soliloquy - Responsive Image Slider for WordPress » Next Update (1.4.4) and Slider Not Loading

  • The next update to Soliloquy Lite (1.4.4) will update both the main slider script and the initialization script to bring it to parity with Soliloquy. It has some bug fixes and includes touch support for Windows phones.

It’s important to note that when you make the update, your browser may serve old cache files and cause the slider not to appear. DON’T WORRY.

Here’s how to resolve the issue if your slider stops appearing after the update:

    1. Clear out your browser cache entirely (here’s how in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer). It is important to note that just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean the rest of the world doesn’t see it. Your browser is just serving up old files.

    2. Flush any caching plugins entirely (such as W3 Total Cache and WP Super Cache).

    3. Flush any CDN’s you may have entirely (such as MaxCDN and Cloudflare).

After you have performed the necessary steps above, you will be good to go. If you have any further issues with the slider not loading, then post a topic here.
