Support » Plugin: WP Super Cache » Next / Previous links dont work with super cache

  • is it possible to add a feature that when i publish a new post, it will delete the cache files for the home page and the last 5 posts? right not i can choose to delete homepage only, or all the cache files (all the cache files is not an option on my blog)

the thing is that when i publish a new post on my lol blog: http://funny-pictures-blog.com/ , the previous links on the 2nd post (that was on the homepage) will not work since its still using the “old” cache files, from when it was on the first page and here it didnt have the previous links (since it was first on the list).

this usually fix themselves after a while but it takes some time before it gets updated.

Unfortunately such a feature isn’t on the cards, but you could write a plugin that hooks into the publish_post hook and deletes those cache files?

oh, do you know of any plugin that does this? its really important for me to get this working.

‘fraid not. Check the WordPress codex for the docs on writing a plugin. It’s not that difficult once you get into it and well worth knowing about, especially if maintaining your own site.
