Next Gen slideshow

Hello,
I have instlled the nextgen gallery plugin and uploaded the imagerotator.swf to my uploads folder. However, nothing shows when up when I enter [slideshow id=1]. This is the ocrrect path, and I have configured everything correctly in the slideshow sectionof the gallery options. Maybe the plugin isn’t compatible with my theme, intrepidity?

If anyone has any advice on how to get this going I would greatly appreciate it. I have followed much of the advice provided in other posts, and nothing seems to work.

Please take a quick look at my site and see that nothing works, not even an empty box appear where the images should be.
