• I think I have found a bug in participants database. WordPress plugin.

I keep a large list of ‘participants’ in our tree warden network and have to frequently add several new in one session.

    I add a record

To save it I click [next] as instructed in the popup. The data saves but I don’t get a clear blank record to input the next one. It goes to the same place as [Apply]

I notice that the [next] button is pale and not green like the [Submit] and [Apply] buttons. Does this indicate that it is not active and the link is actually to [apply]?

It is often hours or even days before I can add a new blank record. The only alternative I have is to delete the contents of each field before I can create a new record. This is very time consuming and frankly frustrating.

Can someone possibly update PDB to make the [Next] button work properly and give a clear screen for the next new record?.

    Kind regards

    Richard Jannaway

I’m sorry, looks like it is not working the way it is explained. It takes you to the next record, now a new record.

To create a new record, you must use the “Add Participant” link in the admin menu.

Your question suggests a good feature idea: a “New” button in addition to the other buttons on the Edit Participant page. I will try to add this to the next release.

Another thing: if you click on “Add Participant” and then after entering the data you click “Next” you will save the current record and start a new one.

If you are editing an existing record and click “Next” you will go to the next record in the database, not a new one.

I know that is not clear, I plan to fix this.
