What is the feature not working on author pages? Maybe you mean the byline on listed posts is showing the wrong author name?
Are you using a cloud template (from the tagDiv Cloud Library plugin) for your author pages? If you are, please take a look at this support article.
The author name is wrong while the post list is right
Hi, same here, on all authors page I always see my admin name as Page Title instead of the author’s name.
If i disable your plugin, the author name is correctly displayed as page title on all author archives
The author name might be displayed in many different places on author pages. So it is important for us to know exactly where the issue is happening:
@erabbit Are you using a Cloud Template from tagDiv? Maybe the wrong author name is displayed on the author box displayed at the top? Could you please share the URL to an author page displaying the wrong name?
@seoergoweb With “Page title” you mean the text displayed in your browser’s tab or the text in the heading of your author pages? Could you also share the URL to an author page in your site?
Please let us know so we can get a better understanding and look into this.

I renamed my profile name to Liaf Magazine for now, it is better than showing my male name on female author archives
My problem is the same of @seoergoweb and yes I use Cloude Template from TagDiv
Thank you for the clarification. Could either of you guys provide admin access to your site (or a staging site better) so we can look into it? We do not have access to Cloud Templates, so there is no way we can check on our testing environment. For that you can open a support ticket with us here.

Thanks @seoergoweb! We have been able to fix the issue. We will release a new update (4.6.13) with the fix.
It should fix your issue too, @erabbit. But feel free to reopen this ticket if it does not.
Remember to flush cache after updating the plugin (once available).

Plugin was working great with version 4.6.12 but I just upgraded a client to 4.6.13 which is on Newspaper Theme using Cloud Templates and it actually now does not display the Guest Author anymore but the Site Admin as others have indicated above. I just rolled back to 4.6.12 and functionality has returned.
