# Newspaper theme

 * Hey all
 * I’m looking for a Newspaper-like theme. I think I have looked through the available
   themes, including the premium ones, but cant seem to find any that would fit 
   my needs.
 * What I’d like is a theme that contains a template, f.i. concisting of a content
   field that would show news items with a corresponding picture, and a sidebar.
   In addition the content field should preferably show the following:
 * first(at top): 1 main news item
    below this: 2 news items beside each other below
   this: 3 news items beside each other
 * When a new news item is published at top, the others should be pushed further
   down and so on…
 * Is this doable with WP – or should I use another platform (I’d prefer WP)?
 * Can anybody give me a clue?

 * Pretty much anything is doable with WordPress. Sounds like you have looked through
   most of the places to find good themes, so if you can’t find a suitable theme
   you will need to either create it yourself or hire someone to build it for you.

 * Thanks a lot for replying! Do you know if any relevant theme is “pushing” previous
   news items further down when a new item is published (at the top), or anything
   about the process to “push” items further down on a template when new items are
   added?
 * I realise my requests are probably achievable with WP. I am familiar with PHP
   on a basic level, but not skilled enough to develop a complete theme myself.

 * I’m looking for something similar – hopefully three columns and a parchment look.
   Hope you had some luck, I looked everywhere.
