News Feed Problems

  • Hi There

I’ve taken over a project thats been built using wordpress which ive never used before.

One of the problems im having is our news feeds come from a company called Adfero. On the home page the titles are being displayed with ? where ” should be but when you click through to the story the titles are fine? Has anyone else had issues with this? Also I want to change the display of the dat of a post so that it dosent have the time stamp.

here’s the site new.clickthrough-marketing.com please view in Firefox as I’m still correcting the style issues with IE.

    Any help greatly appreciated!

I’m not seeing where specifically this issue is occuring. Can you point specifically to a specific example please? (I’m stuck using ie7.)

if you look at the Latest Search Engine Marketing News on the home page you’ll see the ? were ” should be in the titles.

I dont’ see anything like that but, usually, it is the result od character encoding mismatch.
Your main site has iso-8859-1 (western) character encoding while the blog is utf-8 (WP’s default). Re-write your main site with utf-8.

Edit. And if you get feeds from a site that has a different encoding than yours… you cannot do anything.
