Nework for wordpress and Cross domain cookie sharing
-
Hello David,
I have used your plugin and have made a setup like this
main network- autopage.in
secondary network- ospage.in
and i allow registration of subdomain blogs on these networks.
example registered blog- test.ospage.in {username- test1 password- 12345 }To have a synchronized login across these networks i am using wp-central login plugin. This plugin does the job of synchronizing the login cookies across networks, but not perfectly.
I want you to observe this-
> Login at http://autopage.in with credentials username- test1 password- 12345
> It redirects us to the dashboard of autopage.in but as a user http://autopage.in/wp-admin/user/
> Now switch to the actual location of blog which is http://test.OSpage.in
> And reload the page twice.
> It will log you in automatically, it synchronizes the cookie across different domains and different networks. The only PROBLEM is blog owners are unable to access their own wp-admin area. When they try to reach http://test.ospage.in/wp-admin/ they get an error message “You attempted to access the “test1” dashboard, but you do not currently have privileges on this site. If you believe you should be able to access the “test1” dashboard,
please contact your network administrator.”central Login plugin’s author won’t reply back. Its very few lines of code but i can’t figure it out, Can you please help me to fix this ?
thank-you
