    Hello everyone,

I have this issue : when i create a new sub-site on my Worpdress Network, i cannot access it.
I can create it, set the title, admin mail address, etc. But after it has been created, the website and the dashboard wont display : a blank page will show.
    Symptoms :

    • The page has no HTML code at all, both on the frontend and dashboard
    • The default wordpress themes are avaiable on the network
    • All previously created sub-sites work perfectly
    • The website is inaccessible, for visitors and admins altogether.
    • Accessing it with a link in the main dashboard or by typing the URL give the same result.

This behavior is new for me, and quite inconvenient ^^
    Thank your for reading !

So, i tweaked around and found the solution.

For an unknown reason, my newly created website could not use the default template, aka TwentySixteen, despite this theme being up to date and network activated.

The symptoms showing there made me think it was pretty much looking like a Template error.
So i went to the network dashboard, and accessed settings of the new site to change it’s theme from there. Reminder : i could not do so by the subsite dashboard because it was innaccessible.
Network administration > My sites > MyBrandNewSubSite > "modify" > Settings
I edited the config entries refering to TwentySixteen templates and stylesheets to TwentyFourteen. And Tadaaaa, got it working.
Nota bene : i knew Twentyfourteen was installed and working on my network.

I hope my “discovery” will be usefull to you guys.

    Cheers, and May WordPress Rule.
