 * I use this plugin since a long time on several sites.
 * With newest version of the plugin (6.1.0.1), when opening the cookie popup settings
   view by a not-logged-in-user, a broken link to down.png is reported:
 * jquery-3.6.0.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2 Mixed Content was loaded over HTTPS, but requested
   an insecure element ‘[http://localhost/rogierlankhorst/wp-content/plugins/complianz-gdpr-premium/assets/images/down.png&#8217](http://localhost/rogierlankhorst/wp-content/plugins/complianz-gdpr-premium/assets/images/down.png&#8217);.
 * Deleting the Super-Cache and the Autooptimize cache did not help.
 * It seems to be in cookiebanner/css/defaults/banner-optin.min.css:
 * –cmplz_category_open_icon_url:url([http://localhost/rogierlankhorst/wp-content/plugins/complianz-gdpr-premium/assets/images/down.png](http://localhost/rogierlankhorst/wp-content/plugins/complianz-gdpr-premium/assets/images/down.png));

 * Hi [@toxicum](https://wordpress.org/support/users/toxicum/),
 * Thanks for reporting the issue. You are correct, there is indeed an incorrect
   reference for this image. I will remove this references in the next update.
 * Please note that this file is only meant as fallback css: it will only load if
   something has gone wrong with the css generation of your banner css and your
   own custom banner-optin-1.css file does not exist. To ensure a banner can show,
   the plugin uses this file as fallback css.
 * The easiest way to fix this on your site is to go to Complianz/cookiebanner,
   then in the editor, save the settings.
 * If the css file still is not generated, you may have a permission issue in your
   uploads folder. The plugin tries to write a css file in wp-content/uploads/complianz/
   css
 * If there are writing issues, complianz will notify you of this on your dashboard.
 * Let me know if that helps!

 * Hi [@toxicum](https://wordpress.org/support/users/toxicum/),
 * I’ve updated the github repository with the removed localhost reference.
    [https://github.com/Really-Simple-Plugins/complianz-gdpr/](https://github.com/Really-Simple-Plugins/complianz-gdpr/)
 * But if you re-generated the css, you don’t need actually need the fix anymore.
 * The fix will get merged in the next update, I’ll close this thread as resolved.
   If you need any assistance with the custom banner css, let me know!

 * I re-saved the custom css and cleared the cache. This resolved the issue.
 * The save button in the admin page btw. is partly overlayed by the sample cookiebanner,
   so it was hard to see.
    Thanks for your help.

 * [@toxicum](https://wordpress.org/support/users/toxicum/) glad to hear it’s resolved.
   Thanks for your feedback, we will look at the user interface for the banner in
   7.0, and will take your remark into account.
