    Hi @stefan22,

I’m sorry that you are having problems.

What exactly are you trying to do? “cf7pp_get_form_stripe” is not a valid hook in the plugin.

Let me know and I’ll try and help.

Also, we do keep every single prior version here: https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/contact-form-7-paypal-add-on/tags – but I recommend trying to figure this out before downgrading.

    Thanks,
    Scott

Hi, I only updated version from 1.6.7 to 1.7 and this started doing.
It appears when I fill out the form and there should be redirection or basically the original form should disappear and payment fields for Stripe should appear but instead I get this error in the Console Log

Please advise that “cf7pp_get_form_stripe” is not a valid hook. Can you please provide the URL of your form?

I get the same error after the recent update. Everything was working well until then. Now, the stripe form doesn’t open and if I check the console I see
“Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user’s experience. ” as soon as ‘submit’ is clicked – it should pop up the stripe form. I also see the error: “GET https://www.roadogsandrescue.org/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=cf7pp_get_form_stripe 400” Visiting that resource shows “0”.

I don’t really follow those errors, or what hooks are valid, just that before last weeks update the form worked and the console showed no errors. After the update, the form doesn’t work and those errors are there.

    Any suggestions?

Here’s the URL to the form: https://www.roadogsandrescue.org/adopt/

@richgraphix – I just tested your form and it correctly redirected for me. I see the message: Website admin: Success or Return URL is not valid. – which means that you probably forgot to put http:// in front of your URLs.

Try testing in a private tab. You maybe seeing this error because of site caching.

Thanks for your quick reply! I don’t get the Stripe credit card form, even before the redirect. I tried adding the full path URL and testing incognito, it still just shows the default CF7 message when I click submit, isn’t is supposed to show the fields where I can enter the credit card number?

    Thanks again.

    Hi again,
I installed an older version of the plugin, which gave slightly better results (the Stripe Credit Card form appears after submit), but the placeholders and labels didn’t show correctly and the page scrolled past the form and more importantly, payments would not go through – even in test mode it gives “payment failed”.

So, we put it back to the latest version and moved it: https://www.roadogsandrescue.org/cf7-stripe/

For now, we are offering our service for free, so I hope we can get this resolved pretty quickly. Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to get this going, or if you’re looking into it.

    Thanks again.

I will look into this more. Are either of you using any caching plugins on your site or server?

    Thread Starter stefan22

    (@stefan22)

    yes, w3 total cache

    (@richgraphix)

We use Cloudflare, but I’ve purged the cache regularly as part of troubleshooting – I just purged again. Let me know if you need file or admin access.

    Any news on this?

I just tested this link: https://www.roadogsandrescue.org/cf7-stripe/

It works fine on my end, as it reaches the stripe portal and requests $10.

I also tested and it’s working for me. I assume this is some kind of caching issue. It should work if you test again in private mode in your browser.

If you still have problems, please create a ticket at (https://wpplugin.org/contact/support-question/#form) and we can help you out more.

    Thanks,
    Scott
