Newbie with little experience

It took me a bit – but I finally figured most of it out. The themes pack (was a small one) but did the job. My site looks better than it did before the application. More to learn and how to apply more stuff that I don’t even know about would be helpful?… I’m not finding the application tutorials or examples easy to find and/or apply. These themes and WP integrate but not intuitively. I sometimes find things but am not sure how i actually got there to begin with (making finding it again tricky). But the price is not bad and my site is only a personal portfolio one.
