# Newbie Query about Pingbacks

 * I searched on the forum for “What is a pingback?” and got this link”

 * Which was somewhat useful, however my question is about whether to “Approve” 
   or disapprove of pingbacks and trackbacks. If you disapprove of them, do they
   no longer link to my site?
