# Newbie problem (be gentle)

 * Hi there, I’ve done a new page for my wordpress blog. But no “comments” link 
   has appeared, how do I get this?

 * Toward the bottom of the Write Post screen there is Comments and Pings, you want
   to check the Allow Comments box.

 * Nope, I’ve ticked “allow comments” and the link to add comments still isn’t on
   the page when it’s published, sorry.
 * Any other clues?

 * I created a page but there is no “reply” on the page. When I go to edit page 
   the box for comments is checked on the right column.
