Newbie Fantastico install Q

    Trying to install via Fantastico on AddAction.net to the root level ofan addon domain, but I get the following:
    The installation can not be completed:
    - You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.
    — not a problem if I install to a subdirectory, but why can’t I install at the subdomain root?

    The error message says ‘more than one’ – so I presume there is something there that could clash ?
    I would ask your host – WP can be installed at root without any problems.
