Newbie basic question

    HI all, thanks in advance for answering.

    I have never set up a an eshop before and wondered about best practice.

    Do you just install the plugin on the main site or do you create a subdomain and then install it there pointing buyers from the main site to the ecommerce ‘ section’

    I just want to make sure to set it up properly from the get go to avoid issues later.

    Sorry this might be a numpty question but I’ve never done this before.

    P.S. The main business is services so as a side the product range will be very small (like 2 or 3 things) initially (but may grow later) and I haven’t even tried installing woocommerce yet until I get clarity for initial set up.

    EDIT: I should also say that although I don’t have much traffic on my site , I am using just basic shared hosting so I am not sure what impact running woocommerce has on this.
