Newbie Alert-best way/or the way to upgrade plugins?

    I’m using the all-in-one SEO plugin. A new version came out. This is my first “plug-in” experience. How do I upgrade without losing the changes I’ve made with the first version?

    I’m sure this is obvious, but I’ve only been using WP for a few days.

    Unless you’ve made changes to the plugin code, just upload the new version and you’ll be okay. You can always disable the old one first, and then enable the new one, but that’s not generally necessary.

    The changes you’ve made are stored on the database and not in the plugin itself. Or at least they should be!
