# Coming soon page question

 * I’m a rank newbie. I have wp installed (hosted at bluehost) and i’ve installed
   a template and I have my first page. The first page is basically a pre-launch
   page.
 * I’ve gone through scores of plugins but none of them do precisely what I need.
 * My question is, is there any way to show the current first page while building
   the rest of the site in the background until i’m ready to launch. I’ve spent 
   days on this…

 * I’d suggest looking/trying the widely used and well-supported ones and asking
   on their own support forums for specific use questions. Each plugin has a sub-
   forum where developers or other people who know the plugin well answer questions–
   for example here:

 * Scroll down to make a new post on that forum.

 * Ok, so just to be clear, the only practical way to do this is using a plugin.
   There is no other practical way to use my current page while developing the rest
   of the site?
