Support » Plugin: Wordfence Security - Firewall & Malware Scan » New WPScope Plugin not playing nice with WF

Just installed a new plugin, set it up and it’s not working properly. I’ve reviewed the settings in it and it appears all the API’s, keys and secrets have been properly set up and established in order for the plugin to operate…

But I’m getting an alert from Wordfence:

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home1/spiceof1/public_html/cnstarzentertainment/wp-content/

(Blink alert under the Live Scan heading, and prior had said it thought the plug in was a virus, which I told it to ignore).

    So, help would be appreciated.

BTW, thanks for this security plugin. Had a hacker last week and (after 170 attempts/email alerts to login under false credentials) I made a new login page to throw him out. I felt so smart.

    Thanks!

    Connie

  • Hi Connie,

Those warnings look like WordPress’ debug mode. Do you have WP_DEBUG set to “true” in your wp-config.php? If you disable Wordfence, does the WPScope plugin work normally?

    Thanks!
    Brian
