• I am extremely disappointed with the new jetpack interface: you fixed what wasn’t broken. The interface is very clumsy to use.

Before, I could select all jetpack plugins and disable them and then enable the few I want to use.

Now I have to go through several tabs to find the plugins and disable them. there is no obvious way to disable the many that come enabled by default.

You assume that people automatically want certain plugins activated: like beautiful math! I’ve never used that plugin and probably never will.

Please fix this: it’s a real pain when you have many sites to manage.

    Thanks for the feedback!

The bulk activation / deactivation options are currently missing from the new interface, and that’s definitely something we plan to address. The old interface is still available at http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack_modules, and we’ll work on bringing the best of that old interface (the ability to quickly enable or disable multiple modules at once) to the current interface, that was designed to help new Jetpack users who would often find the big list of features very overwhelming.

You can follow our progress on this here:
    https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/4534

Once we add those options, the interface should become easier to user for power users like you.

You assume that people automatically want certain plugins activated: like beautiful math! I’ve never used that plugin and probably never will.

You can read more about why Jetpack was built that way here:

I hope this clarifies things a bit!

    Jeremy,

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear the global deactivate feature is still available using an url. And hope there will be a link added so I can get to the link http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack_modules without having to remember it.
