New Version of Plugin

    Hi there. Just today noticed the problems with hacked plugin… had no problem (fortunately) all this time. Today saw after months a new update and when tried to update the plugin i recieved an error and the plugin deactivated. Then searched more and see what happened, so i deleted the plugin.
    Now i’d like to know if it’s safe to download it again… Thank u!
    …also the tables of old plugin exist in my db. The new plugin will work with them or have to delete them? I would like to have the statistics…

    Hi 👋🏼, the previous version 5.12 plugin must be completely removed due to security flaws, fortunately you have not had any problems (how lucky!), The new version 6 is safe and reviewed by WordPress so you should be calm. And with respect to statistics, yes! Everything remains and continues 🚀

    So i must delete everything in my db.
    I see a record in database root called wp_yuzoviews
    and in wp_options 7 records (present_version, date_yuzo, options, db_version, widget, active_free, popup message)
    Is it safe to delete all of them or there will be a problem?
    Also if i delete the first one in root called wp_yuzoviews i’ll lose my statistics?

    There are no problems in the database. You do not need to delete anything from the database, if you get deleted you will lose all your statistics.

    I m still in old version, deleted old plugin and thats why i asked if i have to do something more with database. I will soon install the new version so i ll be back for review. Thanks again @ilenstudio

    @ilenstudio Do not put ?filter=5 on review links again. That’s dishonest as it hides the non 5 star reviews. All reviews left by users default to 5 stars and you do not need to hide anything that way.
