Support » Plugin: Uji Countdown » New version doesn’t support Classic editor

  • So first, the update to the plugin broke all of my existing countdown timers.

Second, I could not reinsert the shortcode from the visual editor in the classic editor.

    Here is the shortcode I was using: [ujicountdown id=”World19new” expire=”2020/05/01 23:59″ hide=”true” url=”” subscr=”” recurring=”” rectype=”second” repeats=””]

I had to roll back the plugin.

It does support Classic Editor with the plugin:

Actually I use that plugin and it does NOT work.

Is the shortcode button still visible for you in “Classic Editor”?

    Uji Countdown shortcode button

Button is visible but is functionless

Okay, according to @esmexaminer, the code does NOT work, and yes, the button is visible.

More data: the code does NOT work with Elementor either

Thank you for sharing all the information. Unfortunately I cannot test it with Genesis Theme but maybe the new update 2.1.1 could fix the issues you have.
