PS: I just downloaded the latest zip file of the plugin. Indeed the timestamp says updated on 15 June. Thank you for this – I will try it out on a development site.
Since the version number is not updated, the repo is not pushing the new version to people’s sites who have plugin auto-updates enabled. May be something you want to look into? This could be tricky – what if someone’s site crashes after updating your plugin – how do they rollback to a previous version of the plugin – especially since all versions have the same number? Is there a separate github repo where you maintain older versions using a different versioning system?
Please advise.
PS: Not sure whether WordPress repo management team might suggest possible corrective action/s here.
