# New User spam

 * I am getting new users signing up, not subscribers, but new users. I don’t know
   how to block them. It’s happened before, one or two a month, but I had 14 today,
   all coming from a name with a number and [@sina](https://wordpress.org/support/users/sina/).
   com. How do I block them or anyone from being able to register as a new user?

 * Go to Settings -> General in your blog’s Dashboard and uncheck “Anyone can register.”
