New user registers in silence

    When a new user registers, shouldn’t i the admin get an email that notifies me? Because at the moment i get nothing. I literally have to login every time to check if someone registers. Also for the user they do not get any welcome email when they register even though they check the send credentials box.

    Hi,

    Yes the Admin should be notified when a new user registers and also the user should receive a notification if he checks the “Send credentials via email” checkbox.

    Can you send/receive emails from/to your domain?

    Did you tried to register a test user using WordPress Default Registration form to see if any other notifications are received?

    Did you tried to register a test user logged out as Admin? In Settings -> General did you set up the Email Address (This address is used for admin purposes, like new user notification.)?
