 * Hi guys,
 * Forgive this post as I am a new user, but I am doing my friend a favor and looking
   after a wp site for him for a while, it is running an old version 3.4.1 I think
   and there are a few plug ins requiring update, along with the actual wp software.
 * I am fine updating posts etc but to be honest I don’t know if it has been backed
   up or anything in a while. I tried to get some plug ins to take care of this 
   and am getting the error…
 * Download failed. Could not open handle for fopen() to [http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/backupwordpress.3.4.5.zip](http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/backupwordpress.3.4.5.zip)
 * I haven’t spoke with him yet about getting access to the host control panel but
   am I right in thinking I can’t do much until I sort this?
 * Any help would be appreciated. Thanks J
