    Hi,

    New update because the cart page does not load. I tried it on a clean install only with your plugin and WooCommerce. After installing Query Monitor, it looks like the problem is in some dependencies.

    Steps to replicate: install woo -> install EU/UK VAT Validation Manager for WooCommerce -> enable Checkout block field -> navigate to Cart page

    I still have the same problem with v4.3.7. If I enable “Add script dependency” for “Checkout block field” then cart page no longer loads. If I disable “Add script dependency” then cart page works, but VAT validation during checkout is not working.

    Hi, @chemicstry,

    Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

    Are you sure it’s the same error? Could you please let me know if there are any JS errors when you disable the “Add script dependency” option? You can check it in Chrome by clicking the right mouse button > Inspect > Console.

    Also, could you please elaborate on “validation during checkout is not working” – are there any progress messages, e.g., “VAT is not valid”?

    Hi, sorry for the delay.

    I have since updated to 4.4.7, but the problem persists.

    When “Add script dependency” is disabled, the VAT field in checkout is not interractive, it does not perform validity checks and does not display company information. Browser console has this error:

    Uncaught ReferenceError: alg_wc_eu_vat_ajax_object is not defined at eu-vat-for-woocommer…js?ver=4.4.7:1:5398 at eu-vat-for-woocommer…js?ver=4.4.7:1:8859(anonymous)@eu-vat-for-woocommer…tend.js?ver=4.4.7:1(anonymous)@eu-vat-for-woocommer…tend.js?ver=4.4.7:1

    When I enable “Add script dependency”, the checkout works fine, but cart page is stuck on skeleton loading animation, no errors in the console.

    Hi, @chemicstry,

    I’m not sure if it’ll help – as I’m unable to reproduce the issue on my test site – but could you please update the plugin to the latest v4.4.8 and let me know if that makes any difference?

    The “Add script dependency” still breaks the cart page, but the checkout now works when it is disabled. Thank you!
