New Update adds spacing issue in posts

  • Seems like the new update, which corrected the line breaking of longer words in post titles, may have caused an inadvertent spacing issue in the body.

While writing in the body of a post, sometimes two spaces are added at the end of a line break, cause a space to appear immediately before the word moved to the next line.

I tried to leave an example in this form field but it doesn’t let me manually put an extra space. <– Basically, there would be an extra space here before the first word “space”

If you can link up a page where you’re running into an issue, I can see about getting that fixed in the next version. Nothing was changed in this area that I’m aware of, but there’s always the chance something was accidentally modified.

Basically this can only be seen in action while writing the body of a post, or once the post is actually published. I have gone through and manually corrected all spacing issues so I have no live examples.

I use two spaces at the end of every sentence, so it is particularly noticeable when those two spaces run over to the next line.

Hell, this could be a problem with wordpress itself, I’m not sure.

It’s a very minor issue and easily correctable so I wouldn’t worry too much about it if you can’t figure out what’s going on.
