• I’m totally new to website building. Finally set up a theme. Then, added a top page text. Just a couple of days ago I read a long article about all the things I should set up first at Mythemeshop.com so I copy-pasted it and began working through.

I set up three plugins, one of which was related to stopping mass attacks, one was to hide the real URL so that unauthorised persons could not hack my webite, and one was about preventing too many login attempts.

Today I tried to login to WP but it said over and over that my email address did not exist. So, obviously, I can’t get into my dashboard.

I don’t know if I have done something wrong or if a plugin is to blame but it has actually taken me two hours just to find this means of asking for help with my problem. So maybe I’ve done something stupid or missed out something important.

BTW the website up to the point of first page is available to me at Softaculous.

Frankly, all these different places including my hosting server are making me very confused and the numerous passwords, changes and whatnot are doing my head in.

Grateful if anyone has a solution. Thanks for reading.
