New Thread – Customizer not Saving Settings

@nobita,

Customizer will not save settings.

I have wiped out all child style.css, functions.php, header.php back to default.

Using customize settings it seems they apply but within a few minutes revert back to default.
Default:

Site Tag Line Show (should be hidden)
Site Title Show (should be hidden)

Colors:
All font and link colors revert to black.
Menu settings all widths reset to default.

Images:
Background image sets to none

Advanced > Site Wide CSS will not save.

I am saving and publishing between every change.

This has been an issue for a while and i have not updated anything in customize since my last backup restore. It seems the issue is once settings are published and saved in customizer.

Other sites are functioning normally i believe because customizer has not has not been published and saved. Once done settings will all revert back to default.

I have upgrade to 1.437 and it seems to be working.

The site wide CSS wasn’t working initially but after clearing the cache it is working.

Been up and working for 24hrs now, it used to revert back to defaults within a few minutes before.

Yes nobita.

The theme is working so far….usually lost settings pretty quickly but has been good for a couple days now….

Tested plugins

below plugins install and activate (not custom setting)

standard child theme like below.

Pass the test

Parent theme Raindrops pass the test

child theme boots ( data save in theme_mod )

not reflect customizer settings

It seems there is a need to investigate a little more, but it does not go out conclusion immediately

If you use the normal child theme, it does not seem to come out a problem.

Even if you switch to a parent theme, or it does not reflect setting of customizer?

They stayed for a few minutes.
