New Theme, SAME SLOW LOADING Problems. Don't Know Anymore!

Hi Guys,

Firstly, this problem is in relation to my Website http://www.wrestling-edge.com/

I have been having issues with the site loading very very slowly in Internet Explorer for a long time now. Yes, I know the browser sucks, but a large majority of my visitors use it, so it is very important.

My old theme, the header with the logo would load, and then the rest of the page would take 10-12 seconds (I counted) to load.

I just launched a new design with a new improved coded theme yesterday and the result is still the same. Many of the plugins wee disabled (only 18 active right now) etc. but still exactly the same result. The logo/search box/top header loads and then a further 10-12 seconds for the rest of the page.

My WordPress guy is telling me it’s just I.E but that’s rubbish. All my competitor sites that use WordPress load within 3 seconds.

It’s clearly that the site is loading something that’s taking an absolute age but I just don’t know what it is and need help resolving this. I have also removed ALL advertisements on the page to rule that out, and it didn’t make any difference.
