Trust me, it happens. I used to make themes/skins for a windows product called Nextstart (later became Winstep and is at http://www.winstep.net)… I was so prolific it made me crazy but then one day… nothing. Gone. My themes have all disappeared, they were at deviantart.com but after the big db crash a few years ago i didnt bother reuploading.
I made a few when I was a Pivot devotee, too. Its been a year or more since I did anything though 🙂
I may remember some of your stuff from DA. Don’t have anything left now (my own selection of crashes), and due to being both senior and blond, I also don’t have names at my greymatter’s tip-ends – but I do remember stuff that was ex-nextstart/winstep….
