# New Theme : “One Column”

 * Instead of spending a long time, in coming up with a name for this theme, I named
   it ‘One Column’.
 * As the name implies, it is a single column theme. It does not remove the sidebar
   contents, instead it places it at the bottom. This way, you get more attention
   to the content area.
 * This is also good for photo blogs.

 * Thank you for the encouraging words. this theme was sitting idle for a long time,
   with no sidebar content at all.
 * just recently i put together some code, to show boxes for the sidebar content,
   just below the content area.
    it is the same trick I used for showing the 3 boxes
   in the top of wpthemes.info’s home page.

 * really nice and clean. looking at the “something to test” post, there’s a border
   around the emoticons. other than going into the css, any way to remove the border?

 * you can tell wordpress, to not put emoticons in place of :), 😉 etc
 * it is in the wordpress control panel.
