• Hi,

When I install Semiologic 3.2 theme with WP 1.5.2 I am now getting a fatal error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: update_user_cache() in /home/mysite/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 92

Then, if I try to go into wp-admin, I get

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare user_can_create_post() (previously declared in /home/mysite/public_html/wp-includes/functions-post.php:335) in /home/mysite/public_html/wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 339

I initially install WP and it works. But, the blog stops working when I upload the theme, chmod etc.

I successfully installed all this a few weeks ago on other blogs.

Any ideas what is going wrong and how to fix it?

    Thanks,
    Dave

  • Dave-
If memory serves, the Semiologic theme requires certain plugins to work correctly. Have you installed and activated all of these plugins?

    That’s the main the problem.

Once I upload/install all the files, I can’t get to wp-admin to activate plugins or do anything else.
