At the moment, the new site is at:
In about a week, I will be replacing my old iWeb-based site currently residing at KeithTheMagician.com with the new one I’ve just finished building.
I’m considering using the Yoast WordPress SEO. My question is about what order I should do things in that make the most sense since I am rather new to the WordPress experience. I’m using GoDaddy as my host, if that has any bearing.
Should I move everything over to it’s new place (in place of the old site) and THEN install the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin? My thought is that I should have everything in it’s final place before I start changing permalinks and title/description tags to their final settings, let alone all the other changes.
Or is it better to install the WordPress SEO, make the changes and then transfer the new site over to the main domain?
Thanks for any light you can shed.
