New template file doesn't show in editor

Dear all,

I tried to follow this tutorial in order to install a client login on my website.

At step 3, I am required to make a custom page template. I installed advanced code editor and created a new template file, but this file does not show up in the column on the right. I do not know where to find it, but it must exist somewhere because WP says that the name is taken when I try to create a new file with the same name (‘Login’). I use the ‘district’ theme.

Any leads as to how I might resolve this? Thanks in advance!
